Cathleen Ihasz is a Managing Director of New Legacy Matrix, LLC. She is primarily responsible for business development and marketing, and also serves on the Company's Investment Committee, actively contributing to the manager selection and portfolio construction processes.

Previously, Ms. Ihasz was President and Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Group of Funds, LLC, a boutique Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in alternative investment strategies and the construction of customized fund of fund portfolios. She held a part-time position with the Matrix Group from 2003-2004, joined the General Partner full-time in February, 2004, and quickly assumed responsibility for fund/portfolio management and growth of the Firm.

At Matrix, Ms. Ihasz cultivated a thorough knowledge of alternative investment strategies, as she was ultimately responsible for coordinating and supervising all research and due diligence efforts related to the Partnerships, as well as working closely with investors to design alternative investment portfolios commensurate with their respective needs and goals.

Matrix began as an investment tool for the Ihasz family, but during her tenure, Ms. Ihasz broadened the investor base to include other family offices, endowments, 401k plans, IRA's, and high net worth individual accounts. In addition, she established a presence for Matrix in Manhattan (the Firm was based in Manchester, Vermont), made several additions to the Management Team and Advisory Board, and built-out the Firm's offering platform.

Prior to joining Matrix, Ms. Ihasz was employed as a marketing associated at the Halcyon/ Alan B. Slifka Management Company, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund specializing in event-driven investing.

She graduated from the University of Chicago in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Letters, and Society.
